New UV Game Art

Post by Von Rom »

EDIT: The zips have been removed from this thread because they were corrupt.

All the zip files have been sent to Spooky's site and will be posted shortly.

Thanks :)

Here are 4 new UV game screen art panels. They represent 2 different paintings with 2 different screen resolutions each (making four art panels altogether).

These are 2 paintings of air combat in the South Pacific in WWII. I thought they would be interesting to look at while you're waiting for the game to start and load up.

They will replace the current start screen and load screen in the game.

I don't think you will be disappointed. I personally use these myself.

And if Spooky would like to upload these new screens to his excellent website, I would be very pleased :)

Place these inside your ART folder:

C:\Matrix Games\Uncommon Valor\ART

Be sure to backup the originals

Hi

I just tested them all and the downloads work fine.

What browser do you use?

Were you using a download accelerator?

Could be you tried to download them while others were accessing them at the same time.

I can't download them either. I get a error message when I try to unzip the file.

My sincere apologies fellas.

I have been posting zip files for years, so I know the procedure. I had real difficulty yesterday posting these zips, so perhaps the forum was busy and interferred with the attachment process.

I just tried to re-attach new zip files in this forum and my new thread didn't even appear!

I'll get this sorted out and we'll see what the problem is.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience :(

This is simply unforgivable

Lol, just kidding ;) ... as long as you post them right now :D

Anyway, thanks for your time :)

To save further problems I may send the zips to Spooky's site, so you can download them from there :)

To give you a preview:

If you have a big enough monitor (like the 19" monster I do), the first painting (the Start screen) may actually give you vertigo (it will fill the entire computer screen) :D

BTW, I am currently sending them to Spooky, so I will notify you when they have been posted on his site.

Thanks for your patience :)

I'll tell you, then, since I have a 19" too ;)

Hope you enjoy them :)

OK, I just finished sending all the zip files to Spooky. He should have them on his site shortly. I will let you know when they are up and ready for download.

It's probably best this happened, since attachments tend to get lost in the hundreds of threads in the forum. This way, these new game screens will be available on Spooky's site for a long time to come.

Cheers!
