2 versions for PBEM

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

2 versions for PBEM

Post by YohanTM »

I believe I read on another thread there is a way to run a beta version of SCIII as well as the regular release at the same time. Is it possible to do this for PBEM so I can test the beta with a buddy but not impact my current games?

YohanTM,
Yes.
Load Beta. Rename Beta Executable "SC-WWII War in Europe Beta xx.exe" or something else. Put link to it on your Desktop. Beta will go straight to game bypassing pre-amble.
Reload Regular release. It will load normally and link normally to "autorun.exe" including going to the preamble where you can load game manual.
