I was wondering if this would be a new game? or a one posted or Youtube Already. Posted by TortugaPower. Meaning he stars from brand new Planet, etc.

The AI was all over Tortuga from the get go. Coming in from North, South, and most of all East. This was a regular start. What happened to the AI, I never saw any other Youtuber get ambushed like this.

Reallyencouraging to see to be fair. Although all the streamers state the AI is good it had seemed a bit passive until then. Tortuga basically sent out his mobile infantry unsupported too far East into unknown territory without reconstructing and got cut off by Raiders in bandit country. Epic fight to rescue them.

I saw that too, and I've yet to see the AI do anything like that either.

The AI isn't passive when it comes to a large war with a Major Regime: that's where the game starts getting more difficult in my opinion. In my first game I finished, I won purely through virtue of grabbing enough land quickly to trigger the win condition: I tried carrying on to fight out a huge war I'd started and the AI (on Regular) gave me a very hard time and had a counter for everything I tried.

Very encouraging, although I'd perhaps like to see the Raider factions a little stronger.

Interesting. Thanks for that. We're you playing on "Normal" difficulty ?

Regular is Normal. And it's tough. I'm no strategy game slouch, although I'm somewhat less experienced with these Matrix-style war-games despite efforts to the contrary, and I'm still learning the ropes.

Also, the Minor Regimes are giving me a hard time in another game I'm playing, same difficulty level. They're no walkover by any means, but some are more difficult to overcome than others.
