First X on the cruiser please. Goal is to try and keep a convoy at sea. Regardless of losses or what happens the Italians stay at sea until sunk. If I'm not around just use that as the guide and make the decisions you think reasonable (as I do just post a brief rationale).

In the Western Med same applies and trying to get a TRS at sea. 6 range fighter flies to max box it can reach.

Thanks

CA York is flipped to initiate.
No airreaction on either side. Italy only has FTRs and CW has no CVs or NAVs to make FTR really useful.

Strategic bombardment:
CW sends a Wellington LND to bomb Taranto. No Italian FTR within range. LND returns to Cagliari.
Image

Rolls are horrible and all fails.

I am just waiting to see if there are any debark or air rebase or reorganisation orders from the Japanese before completing the turn. Essentially there are two automatic attacks on Lille and the hex SW of Paris (these succeed whether a 2 is thrown and fractionals fail so I don't bother with the dice).

I will provide the detail and get the game to the Allies as soon as I hear.

Turn 6. Jul/Aug 1940. Allied #5, part 2

Naval combat continued:
CW initiates in the Italian Coast.
CA Manchester is flipped.
No airreaction from Italy.
Allies rolls 4, Axis rolls 10.
Allies elect all Italian boxes.
Allies get 7 surprisepoints.
Surface combat by default.

Initial Italian risk D + 3A
Initial CW risk D
CW uses 2 points to raise Italian risk to 2D +3A and 2 points lower CW risk to A.
Image

CW uses 3 points to target convoy with a D.

Image
Image

No more axis units so naval combat is ended.
Italian damaged CA is aborted to La Spezia.

Next up is the Western Med.
CA Hawkins is flipped.
No Italian airreaction.
Allies roll 3 and axis 10.
Allies fight only the 3-box and chose naval air by default.
Allies have 10 surprisepoints.
All CVP flies as bombers.
The allies have 6 bombers with a total factor of 15.
The axis have AA of 11 against 6 bombers.

Initial AA is: highest 1 of 1
Initial Italian risk is 2X D A
CW lowers AA with 2 points to lowest of 2 dice. Rolls are 6 and 7.
I will kill the best CVP and lower the bombs another. I hope this is ok.
Image

After AA there are 5 bombers with a total factor of 11.
Italian risk is 2X.
CW uses 8 points to raise risk to 3X 2D A.
Image

How does Italy want to distribute the risk? Scratch that. I think we select every other hit.

First X is on the BB Vittorio Veneto. Roll is 3. It is damaged.
Italy next to chose.

Why kill the best CVP? Choice of losses is CW's, which would be the worst CVP. However, there is no need to destroy anything. I would abort either the French NAV or the Vildebeast for 5 points and then lower bombs by one for the sixth.
