was it isolated? if so, yes, totally normal in 1.12.xx

this army was in supply. Maybe all the retreat west hexes were full.

In any case, i also lost all the attached artillery and other SU.

I now insist that the originally retreat rules and route rules be put back in.

The latest is extremely buggy and now causing bad situations not intended.

Maybe all the retreat west hexes were full.
I think the adjacent retreat East hex may have been full but there were viable hexes further away both East and West.

Don’t think it’s a retreat issue necessarily. Check my post in this sub forum from a few weeks ago.

And isn't the communist party representative, attached to the hq, supposed to prevent these freak things from happening!

Lets see: the Army surrenders but the general who made that decision is safely back and able to command again.
