Same decision over and over and over

In 19 turns I've gotten the "retired militia general" decision probably 5 times. Each time I either have to pony up 700-1000 credits or take massive losses in relationship. I thought maybe if I paid the money once it wouldn't happen again but sure enough it did again. Have to start a new game as I can't get past this. I would upload saved game but not sure how. Version 1.03 and first time I've seen this bug.

I never heard of a repeating event like that.
Or even of the event, at all.

Did you by chance not give Money to the Milita on Turn 2? It may be a reaction thaving low Militia relations/a way to fix it back up to 50 that is partially broken,

I had that repeating event, too. I thought it was intentional and that you're supposed to get rid of the general.

It certainly would be a good reason to get rid of that old foggy.

But... i'll look into it. sounds like there is a glitch in some cases.

Looked into it and in fact the chance for it repeating if turns_passed since perevious >= 1d6... which will cause it to trigger to often indeed.

Tuning this down to >= 3d6... which will cause it to trigger like every 6 rounds instead of every 2.

Wow, unbelievably fast response from the Dev! Love the game, keep up the good work! FWIW, the first 4 times I think I passed cause I didn't really have the money to spare, the 5th time I paid it and still, it popped up again a couple of turns later, at which point I started a new game.
