Japan had planned, and moved, to make an automatic attack in China, but I simply forgot to do so. The reason might be that I accidently double clicked so that the program passed by the Japanese attack step, and dumb as I am I was to lazy to reload since I wasn't going to attack Chengtu anyway. It just was that I should have done another attack instead.

Oh, well. I am sure it will be lots of fun anyway. [:)]

Thank you. I was pretty sure that you were going to say that before I posted. And I had decided to not go back. But now I changed my mind to make that effort since I recalled the reason for doing the attack in the first place was to reduce the risk of partisans if the turn would end.
