Assault Infantry OOB is almost completely unused by skilled players.

IRL infantry have ridden on tanks before; it's rare in modern armies because of the availability of APCs/IFVs and the desire to not take unnecessary casualties from ambushes/artillery.

Some of the MP crowd on discord stated "that might actually make those OOBs useful"

It seems to me that this kind of combined arms OOB is supposed to provide with a stronger defense against both anti-infantry and anti-tank specialized units ?
But in practice, do they work better than just two stacked OOB units : one of tanks, another of infantry ? (With a specialized commander for both to boot !)
I guess that at least the minimal combined arms OOB is ~twice cheaper... but you do need to spend extra BP to research it !

Is there actually a way for the opponent to split those two stacks : for instance if they have to retreat, or will they retreat in the same direction ? (Maybe they shouldn't ?)
