Wendy is not warm enough, she is in danger of suffering from hypothermia. My Scout Master taught me how to take care of that. Needless to say, it involves sharing my body heat . . . [:'(]

Something to remember, the US removed the Purple machine from Hawaii to give away but did not keep Kimmel nor Short informed of the intercepts so they could make their own decisions. It was Short's responsibility for the safety of the base, it was not Kimmel's job.

Also, it was an Act of God which kept the USS Enterprise out of port, they were returning from a mission and were slowed by a storm . . .

We are officially underway! Mike sent his end of Turn 1 last night. He's on the road today, so I'll get my limited orders for Turn 1 done and back to him by tomorrow.

Can't wait to read an Allied AAR. I read a lot of Mike's AAR against Ted, but I play the allies. Maybe one day I will have the time and confidence to play a PBEM game.

Solid contributions to the Tennis category. [:D]

My end of Turn 1 is away to Mike, but it was late, so I'm sure he won't run it before tomorrow.

Only TF's already formed and Chinese units can be issued orders for the Allies on turn 1. I'm going to try to pick up the fighter det from Wake Island with 1 of my 2 CV's that start at sea and then flee to the south, away from KB threats. The Brit 18th was ordered to Darwin before they departed Capetown. All 3 of the convoys carrying Indian Bde's are ordered to reinforce Ceylon. Boise and Houston are ordered to Balikpapan at full speed. Hopefully, they can slip through the IJN net that Mike was so successful at casting during our last go-round.

bunches of Chinese units are ordered all over the countryside. Most of the one's that can be eventually bought out are ordered to head for the mountain trails to Burma. I'll pay for them as they approach the border, then get them into India for some good food, boots, and rifles to train with. Most of the Chinese air will also make it's way to India to train. I did, however, order the two small squadrons of DB-3M's to bomb the oil production at the tip of Formosa. I managed to damage a couple of points there last time and really surprised Mike. We'll see if he remembers that or not. Either way, I won't spend PP's on these units as they both Perm withdraw in just a few weeks.

Every time I watch a Pearl Harbor attack in the game, I'm rooting for BB Maryland to make it, since that is the state I was born in. She's never made it through the attack with minimal damage in any of my starts, where I've had the chance to use her in battle. She's either a reef or a shipyard queen for a year or more. Fingers crossed for a good result this time. [:D]

Keep in mind that Canton Island has something like 8000 fuel, so you can refuel both CVTFs there with no problems.

Sounds like a good start. I definitely pickup the Marine fighters on Wake. I've done so in most games....GP

All the wenches I found on the net had long dresses that showed their figures. Showing figure without much clothing is cheating! Maybe we should call those "WOWnches![:D]

You have to look for a specific person, like the wife of a man with a golden voice. Those with the long dresses like that are gentle ladies of high station and would most likely not be found in a Public House or tavern.

By the way, I saw pictures of her with less coverage.

Speaking of less coverage, I will not post these pictures of Pamela David that are shown here:

Wow. I stopped by to see if I could get some pointers from Mike on Japanese logistics and find I'm on the decolletage page! Some nice dirndls there! And the lady aren't bad, either. Four pages and turn 1 has not even happened yet!

Edit to add: What a Dumas I am - looking at the wrong AAR! Won't be much on Japanese logistics in this one.
