TOAW IV - Korea 2005 Game Crash

Post by heyjc011 »

I am currently running version 4.10.0.40 of TOAW IV, was playing the game Korea 2005 and experienced the following crash and error message:

"Mixed Group2
Please send mx.debug file and crash log to Ralph. Thanks"

Please advise how to correct this error and who do I send these files?
Thanks

The only way to "correct" is to start from a saved game.

Ralph is no longer programming TOAW from what I understand.

If you wish, you can .zip the debug file and post it in this thread.

Cheers

Caused by friendly and unfriendly troops legally stacking temporarily, I think. Ralph was tracking down instances where this might be allowed to happen in the code, hence the error pop-up and instruction. I don't believe that anyone else has knowledge as to how to solve this. As stated in a previous post, you can try backing up to an earlier save file, and try not to repeat the same action that caused the error, if you have any idea how it may have happened. Quite often Mixed Group errors occurred while Air Transporting units.
