Any rumors/news/hints if this is even a remote possibility as an upcoming game?

I may be wrong - and I am just a gamer like many others, but I think it is way more probable to get a June '41 to End of War type of European game than a '39 one.
The whole 'diplomatic' business would be a pandora box to open.

Besides with Italian current NM the Brits will get to Tripoli before the DAK even arrives in Afrika.

April '41 seems like the most straightforward addition. Take all the Balkan objectives super early and start Barbarossa in May!
