Guadalcanal Scenario Logistics Questions

Post by RocketMan »

Some logistics questions about the Guadalcanal Scenario.

1. For supplies, when and where are they delivered for the Allies/Japanese? Can this information be found in game?
2. For aircraft replacements, when is the replacement rate changed? The first of every month? (this one is almost certainly applicable to all scenarios)

1. At specific bases in this case Sydney/Truk. If you open the bases you'll see two numbers for both supply and fuel and not the usual one with the second number the daily supply/fuel rate.
2. As there's no industry in small scenarios the Japanese build rates are set by the designers, in the case of the A6M2 it's 40. Note that this is basiccaly the same as the Allied replacement in full scenarios. As with all scenarios this is visible through the intel screen. There is no other differences that I know of.

There's also additional daily supply/fuel in Noumea.

Thank you for the answers, but my questions still remain.

1. I see the supply in Sydney, but there is no supply production in Noumea. I see that there are regular transports that appear there, and I assume they are loaded with supplies when they appear.

2. For aircraft replacements, when is the replacement rate changed? The rates can't remain the same throughout the scenario.

For question 1, Sydney has the supply, so you have to move it to Noumea.
For question 2, Aircraft replacement rates do not change.

The transports that arrive at Noumea may not be loaded with supplies, they may just be reinforcements only.

Unless you playing a mod then this is incorrect. There is no daily supply/fuel rate at Noumea.

The small scenarios may differ in their Base details from the Grand Campaign.
I am using stock game, patched to version 1126a. I started the Guadalcanal scenario and Noumea shows supply as 15,000/1500 which means it gets 1500 supply daily.

Mine's 11.27.2 and it doesn't. It starts with 35K supply. Thought it was only mods that changed it, obviously not.
