Mine laying

Post by Zelvar »

Hi,
I was wondering how long it takes to lay mines? I tried it once in one of my bases (as the Allies), after several days I still had no mines.

Thanks, in advance for the help.

you can only lay mines in a base that is not designated as the home base. Laying mines should take place overnight. ie to lay mines at Gillie have the mines loaded at either Brisbane or Noumea as Allies and Truk as Japs, with the base they are being loaded from as there home base, then set Gillie as the destination, the mielayer will go there, lay miones and come back.

If you wanted to lay mines at Noumea as the Allies, then load the mines there, set say Lunga as the home home then set Noumea as the destination, and they will lay mines at Noumea.

Check the ship also to see if mines are actually onboard. Also subs need to be disbanded before taking on new mines
