Soviet Reserve Units

Post by robertkeller »

When I move infantry, armor or mechanized units from Reserve to the map they show up the next turn....but when I move anti-air battalions, anti-tank, etc. where do they go? and how can I make use of them as support units?

I must be blind....I don't see them there....I noted units designation and they are not there....is there a trick to see them? I right click on STAVKA box and when I left click on either "elements" or "assigned" I do not see them....I'm sorry to be so slow...but what am I doing wrong?

If you noted the unit designation, you should still see the unit on the Commanders Report if all in-game units are listed. Then just see where it is.

Then you need to Lock HQs to stop SUs being distributed from Stavka by the AI
Molotov : This we did not deserve.

Foch : This is not peace. This is a 20 year armistice.

I know this is crazy but I can't get locked to work. I checked it on the options screen first....then I went to each Army and higher HQ and tried to set it at locked but only could get 0 to 9...tried rebooting after setting option at locked but nothing worked....any help will be much appreciated....

my understanding is that if you set the support level at 0 in the CR, this has the same basic effect as setting it to LOCKED.

even set at "0" (zero) you can still possibly get SU's. Set at -1 (locked) you will not ever get SU's

Yes, but at 0, I understand only construction/engineer units get re-assigned?

Sorry I wasn't clear.....I cannot get any HQ locked...nothing goes below 0 so -1 is not an option.

Did you type -1 in the Commander Report? Or click the "0" under the assigned tab in the HQ. I gotta run otherwise I would provide pictures.
