I don't know who is modifying the scenarios, is it still Andy? The tool witpchkAE in the Tools folder is great for validating the scenarios. I hope that it is used also for the latest scenario changes....

Thank's

I found that this Beta patch made the game uplayable.

Abadan is frozen, the map skewed. This is not an improvement, at least at this point.

I do believe they are working on a patch that I hear is to come out in the January timeframe. I am sure these issues will be fixed.

Looking to come back to WIPTAE after a long hiatus and excited for the beta. (Thanks to everyone involved!). Just reinstalled a clean copy and updated to 26. Should I/can I update to the current beta and start a campaign with the expectation that I won't have to start over again once the revised beta is released? Or should I stick with 1126 and explore various map mods? Super-curious about the beta but don't want to spend weeks chugging along only to have to restart at square one?

These are not patch problems. I've been playing a AI game and it is playable. Can you post a picture of were the map is problematic for you?....GP

Welcome back. For now stick with 1126b. In January we will release the latest version. Also if you want to install the latest version, do it in a second install of the game....GP

I hope that new EXE-file can be used with older map, since I like the map mod I use.

Not a big deal, I have 2 installations, but still.

Just copy and move the new .exe file and paste it over the old one. If you want to, just rename the old exe file just in case you want to go back to it. The new/updated scenarios may not work with the older map due to scenario data and AI script changes.
