AI uses it allot, also its not as cheap as you think it is. In the later stages of the game where every MPP really counts you try not to use it.

Hi!

Many thanks for the mod, Lothos! Would love to try it out in MP but the hints do not work for the GOG version (different folders). Do you or does anybody know how to make it work?

The tooltips work, turn on messages in settings I bet you have it turned off.

Does not matter what version you play the folder structure is the same. Follow the installation instructions or you will have issues.

Sorry, does not work. In the GOG version there is no folder user/documents/My games/Strategic Command WWII … If I create it manually, it does not work. I can start the game and mod but then it says:

"FAILED(set_information_map): No such file or directory"

Sorry, does not work. In the GOG version there is no folder user/documents/My games/Strategic Command WWII … If I create it manually, it does not work. I can start the game and mod but then it says:

"FAILED(set_information_map): No such file or directory"
Did you update it to the latest version? It must have the most recent patch, go to Matrix website to get it.

I have version 1.20.00

I suppose the problem is a different folder structure on GOG Galaxy. Do you have any possibility to check that?

My friend has the Steam version and it works. I followed his exact guidelines but with me it doesn't (I have the GOG version).

THeir is not a different folder structure, you are not looking in the right place. Please go to the Youtube video and follow the installation instructions.

This area should be automatically created once you begin playing a game:

%HOMEPATH%\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - World at War\

You may then have to add a Campaigns folder there yourself.

Hi Bill!

Many thanks. I checked (again). The GOG version does not create the folder in the Homepath. I started a new game and made a turn. Still the folder "My Games" remains empty.

I also tried adding the whole path manually to no avail. I also watched the YT video with the install instructions. Maybe some GOG game owner can tune in and advise?

@Lothos and Bill: GOG Galaxy has a Games folder under Programs(x86)/GOG Galaxy in which a SC folder is created. GOG Galaxy does not create folders in the usual Homepath. I guess that is the heart of the issue.

"Programs(x86)/GOG" thats not the right path. That is the main game path and should not be modified. You are looking at the wrong place, if you re-routed your documents folder in windows you need to look at wherever you re-routed it.

You are not the first person from GOG to play this mod and every person that has ever claimed the folder was not their found out they were wrong and looking at the wrong place.

No, the maps are two different sizes and are not compatible that is why I made this one World at War which is close to size compatible.

- (Bug) China, fixed a bug where the NM event to increase it for China when allies are at war with Japan to fire when UK is at war with Japan and not France
- (Bug) USSR, popup that the far east is safe and siberians would arrive soon even if at war with Japan will no longer show up if USSR is at war with Japan and not at war with Germany
- (Bug) Italy, added Alternate Capitals to resolve the issue when the switch sides their is no supplies in Italy
- (Bug) UK, Desert forces, made some adjustments on where they arrive to try and resolve the Indian Unit showing up later with no reason given
- (Bug) USA, fixed an issue where their industry would not become active if they joined the war and was below 65 mobilization
- (Bug) China Garrison units cost lowered from 50 MPP to 40 MPP to match Communist China
