AAR to commence on Sunday. Have a nice Friday night & Saturday.

By the way I did "NOT" do the extended Lvov pocket in this game. You know the "HUGE" write-up I did in my signature ;-P

Current turn is Soviet Turn 13. So you are going to have to suffer turns 1-12 write-up

OK well looking forward to this AAR, I know you wont be giving out to much details here to early of your strategic planning but I thought I might offer to two proposals, one I plan on conducting when my current game is finished :D

Turn 1

Have not written things on the forum in a long time. So bear with me since I am rusty at both the forum and playing the game. Since the game is on Turn 13 I can actually say my two primary objectives are. The first one is "Leningrad". Yes, I am going for Leningrad first this time.

Normally I don't and it is rare that I do. My plan is to take three (3) full PZ Armies (the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd) to Leningrad and just grind away. Along with this mix I will be taking 30 to 36 Infantry Divisions. Why not? If you go, might as well go BIG!

So we are going to get rid of Lenin first. He was the first and his City with his name on it is going down #UNO.

Turn 1

The target in the South is Sevastopol (or however you spell it, too lazy to look it up to sepll it correct if it is not. Although I could have looked it up and spelt it correctly by the time I finish typing all of these letters out ;-P Or just look at my stupid photo). The goal is to get the port supply going in the south and will be catering to this with the FBD's too.

Turn 1

Air Loses

Didn't spend a great deal of time doing air directives. What I bombed and then shot out of the air is good enough with 3,748 Soviets destroyed for the turn. Will be able to take care of them soon enough.

Turn 1

Overall advance on the Map. No pocket that is "fully" closed should not be able to be opened. Meaning they will stay shut.

Turn 1

North

Just a note that Army Group North is now in the Center, and Army Group Center is now in the North. Got that? Goes for the Air also. Luftwaffe 1 is now in the Center and Luftwaffe 2 is in the North. Got that? :-)

Here is the snapshot end of turn for the North (commanded by Army Group Center)

The colors shows current supply demand for these units.

Turn 1

I also want to point out some wisdom that another pointed out (M60) long ago that needs to be referenced once again. Without further ado here is the link:

Plus this game is a mirror (sort of :-) of this game long ago.

Turn 1

Still Army Group North for all of these units (Commanded by Army Group South) PZ Army 2, 9th and 4th are all part of North. Maxing it out at 108. Army Group Center (Commanded by Army Group North) starts with 6th Army :)

Turn 1

Just going to label this the South and not get super confusing with my Command shuffle of HQ's the first 3 turns. Here is the South and you can tell I did NOT do the extended Lvov pocket at all that I wrote here:

https://forums.matrixgames.com/viewtopic.php?t=390004

Every single unit, except for the GrossDeutschland went North for 2nd Panzer.

I better hear all the cheering die hard Soviets cheering that I didn't do an extended Lvov pocket. I have taken a lot of FLAK for the write-up and here I am not doing it in my game.

Turn 1

South

You will also notice that I did NOT convert any rail in the south and you can see FBD 1 on the Hungarian border waiting for turn 2. I have a plan (of course my plans like to backfire on me :( ). YES, that means I really am not converting any rail until turn 3 with FBD 1. SUXS but it is what it is.

North FBD

****NOTE NOTE NOTE**** I did take out OT/RAD's in my FBD's giving me 3 extra single fix hex capability.

FBD 4 is going through RIGA and the coast.
