AREA damage

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

AREA damage

Post by Texeiro »

Hi, I'm back with some questions I've always had. Playing on the Allied side, could someone explain the AREA damage mechanics in relation to industry? What's the radius of affected industries? How does it work? The same goes for FUEL or ALUM production facilities. Thanks in advance.

Area targets have a Rail damage and capacity component separate from the "area" damage. A few times each turn each industry does a check to find the nearest rail center, with larger rail capacity centers having a slightly more weighted draw. If that rail center is damaged, the output of the industry is reduced (proportional to the rail damage) for all purposes, including score. Multiple industries can be impacted by a single rail center.

The capacity of the industry is reduced by a percentage = 1/2 the damage of the rail center.
