The Wildfire Spreads (5-player game)

Re: The Wildfire Spreads (5-player game)
Now that CW has the pesky 20-range Sunderland on-map I would like to remind any followers of one of our house rules that could impact how it is used.
+ No air reaction for naval searches from the mainland to the North Atlantic. Reacting from the Azores is ok. And flying actively during own impulse is also ok.

Allow or Deny Bessarabia?
Re: The Wildfire Spreads (5-player game)
We allow the claim on Bessarabia, and surrender to the threat of brute force.
It is with sadness in our hearts that we allow such a sad event to occur. Therefore, we wow to step up our defensive capability so that we, in the future, stand ready to defend the free, and democratic, world from the powers that threaten it. No more we say! The colonialism of France, United Kingdom, and USSR must end! We invite all democratic countries to join us in the struggle for a world free from tyranny!

Yes, it’s fun what you can do with it. But it’s sad that AI has become so good that only an expert can spot the subtle, telltale mistakes in texts and images if you try to hide them. Still, it’s nice that these tools can be put to good use in MWIF.

Seems like both the German, and the French, artillery should be taught how to perform bombardments. Not really impressed.

Impulse #3 (Axis)
No rail movement.
Land Movement:
Italy:
-
Japan:
AG Umezu pushes through the gaps in the Chinese lines, and into the mountains. The advance division is ready to enter the central, Szechwan province.
AG Terauchi occupies Changsha (7 - no US reaction).
AG Yamamoto makes minor adjustments.
Germany:
Cherbourg, and the channel islands, are liberated.
2 INF Bratislava -> C Austria
Land Combats:
Germany attacks west of Paris, and SE of the city.
The attack SE is automatic (40:1).
To the west the attack is currently practically automatic since it is blitz, and no retreat is possible. However, defensive HQ support, and defensive air, might change this. Current odds is 53:8, or +20,3 blitz.
Germany has AA, and HQA, included in the attack.
Will defensive HQ support be used? if not, then Germany will not use any support, and will France then use any defensive air? DefHQSup
