Alt-Tab causing crashes in windowed mode

Just a heads up that for me I'm experiencing crashes when tabbing back into the game while in windowed mode.

I did uncheck the windowed mode box in preferences and the crashes have stopped when I go back into game.

I wanted to update this with some new information

I ran into similar problems with crashing and possibly narrowed the issue further.

When I switch by clicking on the game via the windows task bar is when my crashes occur, and less so through actually using alt-tab keys.

Update : nevermind, still experiencing crashes either way. continuing to investigate workarounds.
