World at War 1939-1945 5-player 1 more needed

Post by macgregor »

Axis players move first. 2 Axis vs 2 Allied. One in each theater Europe/Pacific When Barbarossa starts we have a Soviet player. Europe and Pacific theaters are represented at 20km per hex.

1 -First player moves
2 -Sends the SAVED(.sal) turn to Second player, his teammate
3 -After moving Second player sends the SAVED(.sal) turn back to the first player

The turn is then circulated until all the rounds are finished. The finished turn(.pbl) is submitted to the other side, who do the same. 3 of us are ready to start. A Soviet player is ready when USSR activates 22 June 41. We just need one more player to start.

Hello there,
Do you have your full basket already? If not, I'm tempted.
Best,
Marc

We could still use an experienced player to play as Germany. The German player could be convinced to take another command. He could come in as Italy.

We're all ready to start. So please just join the conversation on discord when you're ready. If you can be trusted to either keep the file rotating among teammates, or notify teammates when you're indisposed so that it continues to be played asap, I'd love to have you join us.

The more the merrier. If we can do a turn a week(like the game) that equates 6 years to play it. With the right people, we could half that.

BTW-We HAVE 5 players, and are starting the game. You join a game as a member of the Allies or the Axis. You are given whatever command you negotiate with your alliance. Sometimes temporary, in the case of a minor that will fall OR to fill-in for a player so the turn keeps moving. Sometimes permanent like say, Italy or India. Whatever clearly defined area you negotiate. US ETO, West front Germany are examples. Allies currently have 3 and Axis have 2. So the next player will go to the Axis.
