Why are there 2 entries for the Mk 18 mine in the equipment description but no known mine when searched for on the internet?

Good question Mike. I don't know the answer but there's only one appearing in v26b. You must be on 28.

Using the editor I can see three differences, one (device numbers 1649) has a buld rate, a penetration value and a different load cost to the other. The one without is device numbers 127.

I'm assuming it's an error at the moment and only the #1649 should appear.

Also note that there are similar questions on nearly all other mines?

Thank you for the information, the internet is as always not consistently reliable.

Fair enough, the other alternate mines are greyed out. There are a number of minor errors in this scenario so that seems likely.

I cannot find a ship that utilizes these mines currently. Since they are produced in 1941 it wont be a newer model. I wonder if the ship or ships that use these are simply not in scenario 1?

I get the sense that it is an unused device that was input into the database but never implemented in the game. Like the U.S. 21 inch Mark 18 torpedo.
