Others who've posted on this thread but aren't on the DB:

rhinobones, Telumar, kutaycosar, tcarosil, Franciscus, joey, Ratbag55, cathar1244, wdkruger, woos1981, nemo69, Fulcrum28, William the Silent, Ranger6, LOK32MK, and Hoplite1963.

Similarly, these posted and are already members of the DB:

Lobster, josant, sPzAbt653, Larry Fulkerson, Zovs, broccolini, Simon Edmonds, ncc1701e, btd64.

Other members of the DB:

governato, BillLottJr, Raindem, thomasharvey, GoldenDelicious, Nikolai Ezhov, IslandInland.

And others that are board posters who aren't yet on the DB:

Jeremy MacDonald, macgregor.

I would kinda like to hear from as many of these as possible one way or the other.
Ratbag55 would like to playtest and be added to the DB if possible.

Thanks
You and kutaycosar are added to the list.

Edit: And Telumar makes it 6

Note that the needs will be diverse: Not just PBEM, but play against the PO, play with either updated or non-updated scenarios, and designers to make upgrades. Plenty of slots to fit into.

I don't think it will be a problem. Both versions must be made to work. I have both installations and use the Steam version the most. But, if there is some problem then that is something the beta test was intended to find out. Then I'll have to fix it.

Believe it or not, sometimes the people with the least experience make good testers. Just so they know the basics. They ask a lot of questions and those questions sometimes uncovers errors.

Agreed. But we need veterans too. A mixture would be nice. :D

We need testers of all sorts, so, sure. I don't see the beta test interferring with PBEM games in-progress, though.

So if the game version changes I should be ok to play?

Best I can say is I can't foresee any issue.
