How ‘bout you and I playing a scenario + writing an AAR? You pick the scenario and sides.

All the best,

Don.

Hello Don

I didn't know you were playing against the developer in this game. That must be tough.
Sorry I can't play a game with you and do a nice AAR because I don't own the game yet (can't get hired in this small town) so I have to put off buying the game for better days.
That's why I like the AAR because I can get a feel for the game that way.
I like this game because I used to play the wonderful SSG's Battles in Normandy by PBEM so it is similar. This game has many more counters and is more complex than the SSG game.

I bought the game this week so I can understand this AAR better. I really like how you added in the tutorial tips like hotkeys and advice on use hold at all costs and move+ and logistics boost. I saw all that stuff in the manual so it is good to see it here to help learn it.

Seems like both sides are doing optimal moves with no room for error. You both are playing like Sun Tzu's. I would not want to play against either of you (while learning) cause it would be over in 2 turns or less.

Brian uses a lot of move+ to get in position fast but Timian really scooted down the bridges fast and got in a free smack on the units in trucks over the river. I don't see a better move for Brian if he wants to hold that bridge (temporarily).

Amazing how fast the tenacious 352 ID was mostly eliminated fast and then Timian made it over the bridge.

Now the struggle to get to Isigny which is very hard I think. The AAR ends on turn 7 out of 15 so will you do the 2nd half of this?

fun note: Timian's avatar shows the name "Tucson" so my brain always refers to him as Tucker Carlson. Meanwhile Saint Ruth is interpreted by my brain as Babe Ruth. So this game is a battle between Tucker Carlson and Babe Ruth - the most unlikely match-up possible.
