Rest mode and air raids

Post by Yaab »

Never noticed this before, but LCUs in Rest mode who are bombed by enemy bombers during Ground Attack missions automatically switch their mode from Rest to Combat.

Started a new campiagn, set Tennasserim battalion in Mergui and the BF in Tavoy to Rest to try regain morale. Both bases were scouted in the AM phase, Japanese bombers attacked those two units in the PM phase and scored disabling hits.

So I check both units next turn and voila! both units are AUTOMATICALLY set to Combat mode.

Also applies to units in MOVE - they will change to Combat if attacked from the air.

They don't always do it and the better the forts etc the less likely they will.

Never knew about the forts. I will keep that in mind.

Mergui had 0 forts and Tavoy had 1 forts.

I think I probably should have said size of base but in truth it's probable a combination.
