What the hell - teleporting infantry!

Post by wobbly »

Here is another interesting feet of military marching. I managed to cordon off Cairns and push the wicked Ozzies out. I attack the remaining infantry regiment and it manages to teleport past my innisfail hex - holding troops - to the hex below, in one afternoon.

Any explanations?

They obviously swam around Innisfail, despite the sharks.

I saw that once when PM fell, and the rather large force of defenders retreated over a very small force in Lea Lea into the next hex towards Wau. I assume it's due the very small size of the blocking force. A 60 mile retreat is a heck of a long way to go in 1 day, but the principle makes sense.

Well if this is the Philadelphia experiment I suppose it should be allies only [:D] this is the first time I have seen them move so far. I think, being Aussies, they turned into kangaroos or something and my infantry couldn't tell them apart from the local fauna.
