Anyone see my lost...RYUKAKU?

Post by witpit »

I've seen this in my Jane's boats o WWII and now here:

http://www.voodoo.cz/ww2car/ships/japan/sho_zui.html

I did some pecking around and found that it was the SHOHO misidentified.....but.....

I now think I understand the principal behind Lemurs Scen 26 mod based off of Scen 15 "The Big One"

.....Lemurs! included a third Yamato class (I guess in reality its 4th since Shinano was built on Yamato class hull) BB, and it seems also included the cancelled CV Kasag(ar)i from the Unryu class.......

.....so, I'm wondering if anyone knows if "a fourth" Shokaku class ever existed or was planned......

.....I might still go ahistorical and include a couple few of fictional Japanese carriers, epecially since I now know that "dragons (or) birds" are the source material for names.....THIS DOESN't MEAN THAT THE JAPAN PLAYERAUTOMATICALLY GETS IT...it means (to my knowledge) that IF the Japanese player is lucky enuf to have the factory and shipyard capacity later on in the war, they can build it....

....please let me know if you know about "planned" Japanese carriers that weree never made.....

thx

One of the better sites. Ihave a few others.

All my others only list actual ships built and used.

That link shows numbers of hulls laid or planned.
