jap players?

Post by Strv103C »

I am new to this game and wonder if there are any jap player outthere who is looking for an easy prey? I have just played two times, about a mont each against the ai. But have been wargaming for 20 years now... [;)]
Tried as japan once but I just cant get a grip of their weird production system. Scenario 13? (the one starting before coral sea) or 15 would be nice.

i'd like to take you on.

i've played both sides vs. the AI to completion and recently started a PBEM vs. a japanese player. i can play at least 1 turn a day except for most fridays and saturdays when i'll be out of town. i'm in Michigan (EST).

i'd suggest the following rules...

1day/turn
sub doctine OFF (both)
FOW ON
weather ON
historical 1st turn ON
vary setup OFF
dec 7th surprise ON

i'd also suggest the following house rules based on reading the forums...

max. # of ships in an ASW TF in one hex = 8
only 1 unit can be placed on night ground/port/airfield/city attack / turn (no limit on night fighters or night naval attack)
no port attacks on pearl allowed after dec. 7th until 1/1/42

lemme know if you'd like to give it a shot. my email is jzanes2@yahoo.com

I forgot about damage control, we will have tha one too, but this one is standard I suppose. I would also like the +/- 15 days reinforcemenst variation because so we dont know for sure when the other players reinforcements are due. Acceptable?
