WIR 3.2 Available

Arnaud has posted WIR 3.2 at a site that he maintains. It is at http://wir.levillage.org/. I imagine it will be available here at Matrix at some point also, but as I haven't seen anything, you may want to get the latest at the above location. The biggest change in the game itself is that production has been changed, with factories now reaching very slow growth at a level of 75/cost, so a low cost item factory can grow quite large, while the high cost ones will not. No more changing everything to He177s and Me262s, or at least not and still get the hordes of equipment when you do this. Speed of increase also now takes into account the resource level, along with Heavy Industry, so taking more resources will have some impact on factory growth. Changing between items will adjust the output based on the item costs. In scenarios, the numbers of factories by type were adjusted to keep production similar to the old, if the factories are left alone.

The only problem I have seen with going from old versions to this one with current games, is the total casualties seem to go haywire, but otherwise they seem to play fine. Enjoy.
