Bought the game yesterday.

Post by wodin »

Havent yet started it up but I will shortly.

I just wish the physical shipment came with a manual.

I'd have been lost without the KP and HTTR manual.

Having to print yourself is a real pain in the arse. I never have the time to go somewhere to get it done.

Also with VAT included it came to £41. That VAT just shoots up the price above and beyond a game you can buy in a shop with a manual. Infact its £11 more than the average.

Still Im sure I will enjoy it. Wife wasnt happy at the cost though!

You picked a good one in my opinion. This one is hard to turn off. Just one more turn and I swear I am coming to bed.......[:D]

How did she know what it cost? Don't use the credit card bill as an excuse - you can always say that 40 quid was for three games not bad compared to green fees etc. etc.

I am surprised as a Russian front wargamer you don't employ the Soviet concept of Maskrakova - deception operations!!!

And one day fate knocked at the door, I opened it and fate said, I've come for either your wife or your wargames, which will it be?? I pondered for a moment, scratched my head then shouted....."Honey there's someone here to see you!" ;)

Then about two weeks later fate knocked on my door again, I opened it and fate handed me a piece of paper and it read: Divorce decree, you may keep your wargames, everything else comes to me....signed.....your ex-wife. After that I always had a nickname for her....Hurricane. (heh I'll let you figure out what that means). ;)

Now, sadly I don't have time to play my wargames, I must work 3 jobs to pay the alimony, child support, house payments and insurance and hopefully still have enough for my daily supply of cup-0-soups and/or spaghetti-O's. lol (A twilight zone story) ;)
WE/I WANT 1:1 or something even 1:2 death animations in the KOIOS PANZER COMMAND SERIES don't forget Erik! ;) and Floating Paratroopers We grew up with Minor, Marginal and Decisive victories why rock the boat with Marginal, Decisive and Legendary?

Heres a question:

I have a basic grasp of KP so does that mean I can just get up and running with BiI?

Not having a printed manual wrecks my head!

For the most part yes. I have not played KP, but I understand that differences are in additional information being available through the UI, and an improved game engine, but the basics are the same.

Yes the game-play is much the same.

Go through the hot keys from F1 to F12 and note the information displays.

I am about to go away on vacation, when I return I'm happy to give you a game.

Have fun!
