Just got my copy and it's really beautiful. Nice job!!

But (But me no Buts!) I must agree with some of the lads regarding the hexgrid halo effect. I think it pulls the eye away from the outstanding map art. I'd prefer in future a more subtle hexgrid so the eyes focus on the beautiful maps and not the hexgrid. But it's a minor thing only given in the spirit of constructive feedback.

Looking forward to the VASSAL mod's debut.

I'm glad that you like it. Do me a favor. Play a scenario, and then tell me what you think about the boards. As I've said, there area few people who don't like them at first. I've met no one who doesn't like them in the long run.

I'll play it alright, but I really need the VASSAL mod.

Flashpoint Germany has changed quite a bit since our last game together. A new update is coming and when it's ready I think we can play then. FPG keeps getting better all the time.
