Some help please

Post by Zooey72 »

I have been playing this game for about 4 months now, but after the first 2 weeks I lost the rule book. If anyone has a link to get a copy I would appreciate it.

But I have a few questions if you don't mind.

Why sometimes when I start my turn does it say it is illegal to move any of my troops even though they are supplied? I can strategic move, but can't attack or reorganize. It may be a game glitch[&:]

What good are the ports? Malta, Torbruk, all those. Is it just a victory point thing?

Are a-bombs just a victory point thing as well? I don't see much of a difference in their effect when they go nuclear other than the obvios 1 point hike in tech.

I had thought that a good strategy would be super fighters for the germans. I made a lot, and I made them well. Even though they were far better than my bombers, they did not do nearly the damage the bombers could. Why?

I am sure there are some other things I am not thinking of, when they come to me I will be back. Thanks ahead of time for any help you can give me.

There is an electronic manual as part of the files you have installed. So you can either read it on screen (I have more than once) or print it out. Its in the manuals folder.

Illegal move: Please describe in full detail what the situation is - you are being too vague.

Ports: They dont serve as importent a role in this game as I wish. The only two roles are: You cannot build ships except in a port (duh) - and you can sail ships into ports (rarely used - but it can be handy to hide from a sub for example).

A-bomb: The Allies can win a victory if their production is 50x that of Axis AND they have the A-bomb.

FTR: I think you are confusing Air-to-Air with Air-to-Ground (called land attack in this game). I am sure your fighters were much better at a2a - but I rather doubt they were much better than your bombers in land attack rating. Please supply more detail if you are still in doubt - you are being far too vague for me to really help you.

Enjoy the game.
