I have the turn, and will play it from home in another 10-12 hours. I started playing this game on my desktop, and if I switch to my laptop and play from work, it will generate a wiped log file. However, I can generally turn around the game much faster if I play on the laptop, as I can play it at home, at work, or elsewhere. If there are no objections to the occasional delay, then I will keep playing this game, strictly from home. If there is a desire to minimize delays, then I can switch to the laptop. I don't want to do this though, if there are any concerns about the one-time wiped log message.

What do you guys think?

Round 4 to BA. Still peaceful in the northern realms.

A note to my neighbors: any fortifications that you might find me erecting near our mutual borders are simply precautionary *defensive* works. I firmly believe in the old adage that "good fences make good neighbors". The Kingdom of Scandanavia promises to only man these checkpoints with moderate, defensively composed units, and not with any offensive forces. We hope that peace will continue to prevail...

All,

I will be travelling to France and Italy for RL work for 11 days. I will have limited email access, so it may be a while before France can play the next turn. If I do play, it will be from a laptop, so there may be issues with that (see JAMiAM's post above). Let me know how everyone wants to proceed when it is France's turn.

Best Regards

Bill

I see no problem with this if it keeps the delays down.

Button! Button! Who's got the button?

It would help everyone involved, if whenever you pass the turn along, you post so in this thread. Since there have been no objections, and so that everyone is forewarned, I'm going to play my next turn from my laptop, so that I can migrate this game over to it. All future turns will be played from it. That way, I'll generate the one-time, and obligatory, wiped log message, BEFORE things start heating up.

Turn 4 sent to Russia.

On another note I have spotted the German Battle Fleet sitting very close to my shores. I would hate to have an international incident. Any more incursions into my waters and I will take this as an act of war.

Unfortunately British so-called intelligence has mistaken a simple pleasure cruise of the "Strength Through Joy" Cruise line as a "Battle Fleet". The tourists will soon be joining our Korps of International Hikers who have peacefully strolled into Amsterdam and who as I write are sampling the excellent Heineken beer, before moving onto their next destination in their peaceful stroll around Europe.

Round 5 to Germany.

Remember that, effective this turn, I have migrated the game to my laptop. Thus, there will be a wiped log message for Scandanavia.

There was one for Giacomo (Spain) as well, and I would assume that it's attributable to his computer problems that he posted about a few days ago, in the main AT forum.
