Recon flight over Andaman was met by 150 Zeros on CAP yet the AF is only pink. I have a feeling that one of the 3 TFs there may be the KB. Several move transports have been spotted by my subs moving to Andaman. I think that the Wake bombardment was a ruse and that an Indian invasion is immenent. I will have to see if he goes for the mainland or Sri Lanka before i can respond. My carriers will raid the eastern Pacific if I kn ow the KB is in the IO

Subs spotted (but did not shoot at) several TFs near Andaman. CVs were spotted with the TFs so I am sure an India landing will happen soon. My guess is that he will target Trin first to secure an airbase. AC are being moved into the area to defend against this. Hopefully massed Hurricanes will weaken the CAP enough for the P-40 escorted heavies to get through.

Brit CVs have arrived at PH to join the US CVs. As soon as the India operation starts they will go on a raid in the eastern Pacific.

Looks like Yanam is now the target of the invasion. This is a shame since I had over 100 short ranged Hurricanes ready to greet the invaders at Trin. Freakin' B-17s and LB-30s flew without escorts. They have had their range set to within their escorts' range. Should be a bloody fight on the beaches.

Your fighter force is starting to take a beating...

Gordon has been kind enough to get close enough to Madras for the Hurricanes to join in the fun. While the fighters are about spent, the bombers have taken minimal losses. I figure that I have 1-2 turns more before I have to withdraw everyone again. Since the bombers turned back the BB bombardment force my only fear is a KB airstrike on Madras. With close to 100 Hurricanes on CAP this will be costly for both sides.

With the invasion force splitting up things should be interesting. Trin has close to 5,000 mines plus the CD guns but 0 AV value. The 2 base forces should be easliy swept aside after the troops get ashore.

The KB took a beating this turn. No CVs have sunk yet but a few might. Gordon's troops are shore and my AC are too weak to fight on so they have withdrawn. I could not have asked much more of them. Even if the CVs survive their air crews should be badley depelated.

I offered to go back a few turns but Gordon has decided to soldier on. With the imminant collapse of Chian and Java as well as troops on the grod in India we still have a good game going.

If this was me as the Japanese player, I would be crying right now...

Unfortunatly my heavies are so beat up that they will not be able to run down the cripples for a few days. Hopefully the subs can pick off a few.

Just checked and saw that the defense of Madras cost me my top ace[:(]

If he can take "Trinc" quickly and he brought some ARs with him, he might be able to save some. If not, he should lose 2 or 3 before they get back to Rangoon. 

Rangoon is within B-17/LB-30 range and will be paid a visit if I see a red anchor there. [8D]

He will have to make it back to Singapore to be safe.

Trin fell but not before surface and air forces made it costly. No CVs have sunk yet. AVG is down to 9 planes with no replacements so it will be out of service for a while. Same thing for my other P-40s in India. It is up to the Hurricanes now.
