19420724 : GB : Our gallant troops suffered heavy casualities as the Germans turned on them. They were in the van of the attack. There are plenty more brave Britons to step into the fray!
USA : We expand our beachhead. The enemy had thrown a cordon around the Kiel position.
Norway : Our sub has joined the First patrol Squadron.
Ireland : Our forces in England move to a new position.
Iceland : We ar nearly ready to man a submarine.
USSR : The attacks in the South show real promise. We are readying for assault on Riga and Minsk.
Neutral : Greece : Progress on L2 artillery is exceedingly slow.

19420801 : GB : We have not been asking for lend Lease for awhile, and now have started the reverse process. The Yanks have been bearing so much of the battle we are shipping 100 PP per turn to them to help with the air power costs.
USA : We attack to broaden our beachhead.
Norway and Ireland : Play our parts.
Iceland : We proudly launch the IN Jón Sigurðsson, the first vessel of our navy. This advanced submarine, built with the latest USN technology, is about to enter the fray.
USSR : Three major attacks this turn and all successful. The Allies have drawn forces from our front, now we want to whipsaw the enemy.
Neutral: Greece : Wait and watch. There are Italian and Bulgarian forces held down before us.

19420816 : GB : We cut the convoy to the USSR completely, and lower the one to the USA to 90PP, which leaves us some for ourselves, but just a bit.
USA : We did not gain much ground in our attacks, and we chose not to use air power. We spent 57.2 PP replacing aircraft.
Norway and Ireland : Continue.
Iceland : Our new sub joins the Allies in the North Atlantic.
USSR : We occupy Kishenev, but hold the Guards units in place for 253.87 PP of replacements.
Neutrals : Greece : Wait.

19420901 : GB : We have been at war with the Germans for two years now. We formed a Baltic Squadron to join the Soviets and hope to catch the German fleet which came out last turn.
USA : We advance a single hex, but one that is nicely placed.
Norway : Our navy joins the RN and the Soviet navy in an attempt to catch the Kriegsmarine.
Iceland : Our submarine move east to the North Sea.
Ireland : Another division is shipped to Great Britain.
USSR : Our refreshed Guards Corps have broken through in the South, and are pressing Riga. In the center we give them a pause and send in replacements.
Neutral : Greece : We are 16% to L2 artillery. It takes a very long time to train an army.

19420916 : GB : Our brave troops led the way ashore at near Brest. They would have had to fight it out alone if the position had been too strong. The Royal Navy lent its big guns to the softening up.
USA : Our air forces and navy pounded the enemy positions and then we went ashore for the second time this year.
Norway and Iceland : Our naval forces are ready if the enemy appears in the Baltic.
Ireland : Standing guard in Great Britain.
USSR : Finally our Guards Corps get to show a turn of speed. The pocket may be the beginning of faster movement in the South.
Neutral : Greece : Wait.

USA : We are moving a corps from Kiel to Brest, a sign of our now limited resources.
USSR : With aid from the Western Allies we are rolling along. The amount of land the enemy has abandoned is huge. He is under great pressure in the East.
Norway, Ireland, and Iceland : As before, more Irish moving to Great Britain.
Neutral : Greece : Perhaps our defensive positions will hold another nation off?

Norway : We appear to have lost a submarine in the Baltic.

USSR : We push forward in the South seeking the enemy line of resistance.
Neutral : Greece : Across the border we see the Bulgarians and Italians all in a flurry over the Soviet advances.
