Everything is looking good so far for a digital download release later today. I have to say though, there are a lot of very tired people between the Matrix Staff and Western Civilization development team today. I hope we don't need to do another push like this anytime soon. [>:]
yeah, yeah just release it matrix boy [;)]
thankyou for all hard work and consideration of customers wishes - if you can just squeeze out AE too, im sorted for gaming for a good 5 years
do the tutorials come with the release or are they just on here?

Heh - the tutorials are included in the game itself. When you launch the game from the desktop game menu shortcut, look for the Video Tutorials link there to launch a spiffy player that lets you view all of them. Highly recommended to watch them and read the manual (and use the new in-game help) to get over any learning curve issues. This should be a _much_ more user-friendly game than the original COG with all the effort put into learning aids as well as the improved interface and screens.
And by the way, "squeezing out AE"... well, to quote another developer I was discussing the process of release with, finishing and releasing a complex game is similar in difficulty to giving birth to a porcupine. [;)] AE will be ready as soon as we're happy with it, but it should be released before the anniversary of the original WITP release in July.
Now back to COG: EE which should give you plenty of entertainment until then. [8D]
