Can you outline a bit more of what you're producing? I just bought the game and I'm still working out my strategy.

Usually I do not much at the start - I and most of my PBEM partners try to keep it realistic.
As long as my opponent does not start to powerplay...I keep it around the historical dates.
Usually I produce 3000+ Bf109G-6 very fast and after that I change some or most of the production to the next Bf109 mark.
For the Fw190 fighters...I also go mostly the historical way.....but I produce less than Bf109s
I often make quick weapon changes, if I see I can go after bombers or fighters with a plane with less or more weapons (both Fw190 and Bf109 have several Rüstsätze in BtR)
Co-Axis industry produces their own designs at the start....later I change them to better Italian designs (G55, MC205......or some foreign produced marks of the Bf109) - Co Axis units use those A/Cs in my games
Zerstörer units will fly their planes (Bf110, Me210, Me410, Ju88C) until I see that they are obsolete.......which will be between 2/44 and 6/44 depending of the Allied playstyle
SGs.....will use their own kind of Fw190 (mark F & G)- very often with rockets
Nightfighters.........I am a huge fan of the late Ju88G, but at the start I slowly change my nightfighters.....in this game I phased out the Do217J&N....in other games those are the backbone and elite.....depends always on playstyle of the Allied.
More Allied NIs during the whole night => NFs with long legs or with high speed are important.
Wilde Sau can be effective....but only above burning cities or with many spotlights around.
Most important thing to know - jet fighters cannot be re-equipped with piston engine fighters....so be careful what you are changing [8D]
For me the Zerstörer go to Me262 late in 44, elite fighers stay with piston engined A/C

Thanks for that , I just got a few 262A-0's in 3/44. can't seem to actually produce any so im guessing they are for an evaluation sqdn. converted a high exp stab and hope to get some of those high flying pesky allied recon a/c with them.
Wish there was a mechanism that showed the probably availability date of a/c . there was a list on the forums which i duly copied but i think its way off for the Ju388 says 3/44 and its past that now and i have been researhing 4/day for months. Really running low on Nf's as i swopped all production to research once i had enough 219's and 88's. the
88's are better imo due to endurance but the 219's punch heavily.
playing a human is way differant to fighting the AI, kudos swifty. Sadly no time as an AE PBEM will be kicking off soon. So many good games out and the days arent long enough.
