I'm a fan of An Army at Dawn. It's about the Torch campaign but it's a great title.

Young men, fated to survive and become old men dying abed half a century hence, would forever remember this hour, when an army at dawn made for the open sea in a cause none could yet comprehend.

The title is fine.

I have looked briefly at "our" wish list of assets repositioned before turn 1. More to follow as I have written down page upon pages of the Japanese LCU OOB for my other game.

I like the possibility that the mod will be done and ready for us in less than two weeks per Juan's recent PM.

Has Fishbed announced a final statement, one way or the other??

Sorry guys, I lost the track of things a little bit ^^

So where are we right now, and am I still in the team? Who am I playing with? How does the chicken cross the road?

AAR Title:  "Shipwreck of Our Hopes:  Japanese Side OR Allied Side"

Japanese:  Co-Directors of the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere, Michael and John
Allies:  Miller and Fishbed

Let the respective AARs commense!

Michael--Can you keep our opponents up on the scenario and/or put them in contact with Juan?

As to Its a Mad House:  I have Army at Dawn on my reading pile by the bed right now.  Looking forward to reading it!  Thanks for the suggestion.

The teams will be John III & NY59Giants (Japan) vs Miller 41 & Fishbed (Allies).

JuanG wrote John and I that an initial version of the mod should be out by early next week that we can use for planning purposes. The final version done by the end of next week. John and I have started some basic discussion of minor pre-turn 1 moves that Juan will do in the Editor. Your team can make the same request. Afterward, he will sent the files out and we can still do a non-historical first turn. I am asking each team not to peak into the the other sides set up as I want more uncertainty in the beginning.

I have not seen a chicken cross the road lately, so I might need some help with the answer. [:D]
