Thx for explaining. At times like this I really regret that the only Star Trek I ever watched was DS9 and 'Star Trek' the movie from 2009

Though I can tell which one Picard is as well (he was in ST games like Armada and Bridge Commander).
Anyways, I've just finished the set. I'll test it, make some preview pics and upload it along with new weapons effects. Prepare your eyes for a lot of purple (also known as magneta[:D])

Finally
I uploaded the new shipset and weapon mod. I had a lot of trouble with lights and engines with some of the ships. I think I finally got it fixed but report to me if any of you have problems with the new set. Man I'm glad I used that magneta colour. Imao it looks awesome with romulan style winged ships xD. Any thoughts guys?

*Gasp* I love that new shipset!! Looks rather more Reman actually than Romulan. You won't know who the Remans are, but they're a sub-species of the Romulan Star Empire.
Amazing work with the weapons they're a huge improvement over what I did a while ago.[&o]

Getting it now, I'll have to restart the game but it's worth it.
EDIT: Ok, so the only problem I see so far is that I'm having a blast with this. Seriously, it's midnight overhere and the kid will wake me up early in the morning but the magenta / purple / whatever is hipnotic *vowing again to spend just ten more minutes*
great stuff...as always

Absolutely gorgeous. I love Sins and you have made some fantastic ships out of the Advent, I'd love to see what you could do with the Vasari.

OT here (I know, what a surprise): I'm trying to get into Sins now but I need to know if clickfesting can be avoided. It looks great but can we slow it down enough even during large battles to avoid clicking like crazy?

Game is really slow paced. You don't need to click a lot at all. There's also ability to change AI difficulty so one can concentrate more on admiring the views. Sadly the gameplay depth is nowhere near DW so playing might get a bit boring after some time (my experience at least). If you're looking for a space RTS game I recommend Homeworld 2 with Complex mod - it's the best.
Haree78- I can't wait myself. I had an opportunity to glance at some Vasari ships while playing Advent to gahter screens and I must say that they will make a bad-ass shipset. I really like thier bases and smaller ships -they have this 'evil predatory' look. Though I'll probably need to change thier original black hull to something brighter. There are always problems with black when making ships for DW.

OMG what is this ugly monstrosity?!

Looks like a face-streached necromorph, just that the process went really wrong and there was a power shortage in the facility half way through..... If that's a ST race it must be something related to Klingon

Kalthaniell: Superb job on the Advent shipset. Your ships are fantastic, and add so much to the game. Haree78 is lobbying for a Vasari set, so I'm going to be really greedy and advocate that you also consider doing a TEC set... [:D]
Whatever you decide to do next, be assured that your shipsets are very appreciated...

Didn't know you were a Daddy, Mr Data. Well done, another Trekkie in the making I hope. And I'm sure your baby is very beautiful, unlike that time you created Lal (the picture Ed uploaded).[:)]

Yap, Kalthaniell, that's not a ST species as it was a one time attempt at procreation by the actual android.
Thx, Igard, offcourse his education will begin with warp theory [:D]
