I even tried an attack of my own down south. Kevin is across the river and I have to either pull back again or stand and fight. I'm going
to try standing to fight at least just this once to see what happens next.

Larry, just my 2 cents from a semi-new sov player. The mig-3 facs go away with no upgrade path after dec 41. they aren't really worth saving. The P3-R facs though....that there is pure gold. You may want to spend some time checking all your facs and seeing upgrade paths ectr....to make informed choices on what gets railed and when.
OOOOoooops. Oh well. I'm trying to time all the rail-out's to take place when and if they need be done so as to lose nothing if possible. In other words, I'm trying to save all of it. I may not make it in time but I'd like to try, at least to try. You're advice is sound however and I'm going to have to take a look around at my factories to familiarize myself as to which ones are going to stop production when and avoid railing those that don't need to move all that much. Good catch.

I did a "bomb-city" on Bucharest targeting the fuel production there and got mixed results. Light losses but almost no damage to show for it. I sent lots of bombers too. Maybe more than one strike is in order here. Next turn.

A second strike on Bucharest didn't do all that much either. I'm going to quit while I'm ahead and try it with more bombers in the future.

You can see the list of bomber units in the CR, pick one out, and see the 'kills' count in the CR matches the air to air kills on the unit's own window.

Oooooooh. I see what you mean. There's a row for "aircraft" kills and a row for "ground" kills. Okie dokie. Good catch dude.

Here's the turn 13 front lines before I've moved anything. Kevin has broken through in at least two places.....one was near Kiev and I
expected that one. Looks like my guys might ought to run for their lives in a few places.

When I first assign a plane group to an airbase it shows in the list as having been flown 100% already. Does that mean that if they Axis attacked that air base in the next turn ( the Axis turn ) it can't fly? Maybe I should have assigned it to an airbase further away until the 100% label goes away and then use the "air transfer" method to get it to the final air base I'm going to assign it to. What do you guys think?

I spent some time sorting through all the air groups and I moved those who had 1/2 or less planes still flying to the NR. Now there's only a handful of planes in the National Reserve. The planes I moved aren't listed in the Commanders Report though. It's like they aren't on any visible list at all until next turn. For some reason.

I did a "bomb-city" on Bucharest again this turn. The fuel production damage shows as 11% AFTER I bombed it. So either it was repaired AT LEAST by 2 points in one turn or Axis cities can repair more than one point of damage and it was repaired more than those 2 points ( unlikely ). Anybody know how much Axis cities can repair damages to industry? I'd go look it up in the manual but it's like two in the am and my eyes are knodding off.
EDIT: 6 of my 8 bombers were shot down and I rather doubt that the remaining 2 bombers caused any damage at all.

Here's my aircraft losses by type. I'm losing a lot of Mig-3's. I'm hoping that's because I have a lot of Mig-3 groups deployed.

I checked the production by type screen and found that I have some 53 Mig-3 groups deployed.....that's more than any other type.....so I was right about the losses being higher....I would expect the losses to be higher on the most populated groups.

No it does not. The percentages reset to zero during each player segment so it only means you can't use it during your half of the current turn. The aircraft are available when next turn comes up.

I pushed a unit north to do some recon and found the Finns. Kevin is going to build some strong walls at the entrance to Finland and just hold up there. He's going to build some 15-level forts and be impossible to root out of his forts.
