Great Britain and France are slowly taking back the coast of European France. This month we occupied Le Havre which
makes linkage along the coast possible.

The Royal Navy has reacted to the Regia Marina's actions in the eastern Med. The Italians have a large air component
on Crete. Things will be hot in this area next month. The Italian's gambit is bold.

All Japanese presence on Chinese territory has now been liquidated. The Chinese people rejoice that their imperialist oppressors are forever gone.

It was fitting that Chinese troops should be the ones to overthrow the last remaining Japanese troops from their soil. However the Chinese people also realize that without
Stalin and the all-powerful Red Army, their anti-resistance efforts almost inevitably would have come to nothing.

There is probably nothing the British like better than a naval victory, and the Royal Navy delivered one in the Eastern Med. Every ship of the Regia Marina and the Spanish Navy that we could find has been sunk. Not without losses, but the ratio is hugely in our favor. Bells rang joyously all across the United Kingdom, and throughout the Commonwealth.

The entry of British troops into Paris was also cause for celebration, but Churchill went one the radio to remind the British people that the war was far from over.

The British and French push back against the German and Italian moves.

The U-boats are skillfully handled and we are mobilizing resources to counter them.

The British and French are being pushed hard in Scandinavia, and the RAF is trying to find the answer for the flak they encounter everywhere.

The Italians are under pressure in Arabia, but are in Bahrain in some strength.

The Soviets have almost completed their withdrawal from China, there is concern in the Kremlin that our ally Germany may have its lands Invaded by the British Imperialists, the Kremlin is looking at ways that it may be of assistance.

The scattered Chinese armies slowly regroup towards their designated HQs all over mainland China (and Thailand). China will now try and rebuild, although this will not happen overnight. It may be many months, if not years.

The Russians are withdrawing and, once again, all Chinese patriots send them our best wishes.

In the midst of bloody war there is talk of peace.

So much is up in the air just now that little can be said.

The diplomatic process seems stalled.

Very quiet, even ASW has paused, with the Royal Navy not pursuing located contacts.

France has ceded her territory and units to Great Britain, and surrendered.

This leaves some Chinese units who camped in French Indochina, but which can, and should leave British territory by
sea. Great Britain is not an ally of China.

The Soviet Union and Great Britain have provided a path for the Chinese in Indochina to return to their own lands.
The indicated hexes are available for the Chinese units to transit.

Only the Chinese HQ remains on British soil. With its exit the special corridor can be restored to its normal state.

The current state of peace will allow nations to concentrate on production of the consumer goods that our citizens deserve after the bloody conflict. Great Britain and its French citizens have suffered, and the whole world must knit its raveled ends.

The Chinese HQ did not take the chance to evacuate British territory.

There is a Soviet hex northeast of Hanoi. Please do leave Hanoi and return to China. ATG does not have a provision
for nations not allied to be in the same hex. As far as the system is concerned this situation is undefined. The HQ
really needs to leave and this is a good chance.

If It cannot be moved, China could transfer the HQ and whatever is in the HQ to the Soviet Union, and the Soviet Union could naval transfer the HQ to a Chinese port and the HQ could then be handed back to China or simply scrap the HQ, they are simply PP in HQ form disband the HQ get three PP refunded and build another HQ on Chinese soil, job done.

Several Chinese units in French Indochina that couldn't make it back to China have dispersed to Thailand or been disbanded. The Chinese govt hopes this will end the neurotic griping that its been consistently subject to about the predicament from the British embassy in Beijing.

The Chinese continue to build their infrastructure and economy after the horrendous losses suffered during the Japanese occupation.

What a peaceful game. Hardly any war (onlythe evil Amercians disturb this times of peace and welfare).

The Soviet Union continues with its Ambition for a Pacific Fleet, able to project its power deep into the Pacific countering the reactionary imperialist that threaten its interests.

Navies are on everyone's minds these days.

13 October 1941 : The British asked the Japanese for some updates and observations but were rebuffed. The Japanese are surely unhappy with their experience in China and they chided the British for not helping them. One of the consequences of the fog of war in this game is that we do not have any idea about developments away from our nation's areas of activity. The Japanese are not aware that while the Americans and Japanese were holding off the Soviets and Chinese there was a large conflict between Germany, Italy and France, Great Britain. The Japanese would understand the lack of British help if this were more clear.

The only way to fill the gap in information is to post some general data here, in the AAR. For example the United States and Germany are at war, but who knows if great battles are being fought? This game has reached 50 turns, and I, for one, have no idea what other nations are up to. If Germany and the USA could post some very general idea of their status, nothing that would help the enemy, but some general descriptions such as newspapers would have in a real war it would help a lot.

Here is an update on Great Britain : Germany, Italy and Great Britain reached a negotiated peace a while back. France surrendered and her troops are now integrated into British forces. Great Britain and the Soviet Union are allies, but the Soviets and European Axis are allied too, and Europe is at peace. Great Britain does not want war, period. Our victory condition does not drive us to any conflict.
