Thanks for doing all the work trying to sort this out Baelfiin! [&o]
Something sure looks odd to say the least! Especially those P47 on AS appearing over land well outside the boundaries of the AD. [X(]
Hopefully Helpless can fix it. [:)]
Well this is .11 and I am not saying anything is broken. All I am trying to do is note some trends that seem to me to be worth taking a look at.
I could be smoking crack and have a setting wrong on my air directives. [:)]

So what made day 1 special? Possibly great die roll?
Yes, as it goes from 0. Later it goes in much lower increments. I'm trying to adjust it that it won't be so sharp.

You can fix that easy by just stop smoking crack![8D]

I mangle 9th ss panzer and shatter the zbv752.
One of the cool things about the weather system is that you can have different levels of mud and snow in different hexes.
I am able to load up on 9thSS from one hex of light mud and push them around. The zbv regiment was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I also made mistake last turn and invaded on the east coast of Italy. The bad weather saves my bacon as I am able to evacuate and get the heck out of the Adriatic hehe.
Some of my air force shown, lots more on sicily and further south in Sardinia.
Long range naval patrol in north Africa.

We have a VICTORY PARADE planned! You going to have time to fly to Corsica for it?[:)]

We can talk about parades if I get to berlin before the Russians do[:)]. -300 vps is not something to be cheering about right now[:(] [:(]

Never mind VPs(which seem to be off, anyways.) Speaking personally, I'm just glad somebody has figured out a way to gain traction on Pelton who has until now shut down everybody else, hard. If you can get anything resembling a historical outcome I call that a win for the allies.

I'm feeling your pain! I'm on the May 17th Turn, and I'm still 16 hexes from Berlin. I just got my first clear turn since I can't remember. The Russians meanwhile are still 12 hexes away and have been since the first part of April. Only about 2 or 3 turns left.
Not Pelton.

I screwed up unlike my other games.
This one I desided to see how far forward I could defend and lost 1 GD, 1 ParaD and 2 regiments.
This does not sound like much, but because of those units I was unable to defend all 4 of the key hexes near Rome only 3 with good CV.
The 1 para division was what I was missing on that flank on the other the GD division would have been part of the assaults, which again does not sound like much but it is huge on this small scale - unlike WitE.
A few lost divisions causes the manpower crunch and the old snowball starts rolling.
Bad moves on my part and good moves on his.
Unlike WitE, WitW the WA's can only take what the GHC gives them.

That very well could have made the difference. There was one attack you made that another PG would have tipped it in your favor I think.

Germans are starting a large scale withdrawal. But it is doom and gloom for the rest of the front. Almost at -300 vps [:(]
Unfortunately I lost my screenshots that I was going to post due to windows deciding to update while I was passed out at the keyboard [:(]
The reconstituted 90th PG that I killed on turn 7 is back in my face so I mangle them as a reminder of why they surrendered the first time around.
Crappy weather closing in again however so my air horde is probably going to be useless again next turn. [:(]
Luftwaffe is continuing to put up pretty good interdict numbers in the sea off the beaches in the face of most of the allied air force. More transports dead this turn [:(]
Also 3 of the 5 beaches received no freight. [:(]
Oh and the Luftwaffe was able to open a path to the FJ at civitechia so they were not isolated at the start of my turn. [:(]
Maybe I will get the chance to kill them next turn.

16k freight delivered across all 5 beaches.
Pretty much no point in playing the allies if you can't get freight ashore with the whole allied air force flying in support.
50 Ju88-s can stop you in your tracks hehehe.

My knuckleheads in the air force diced to intercept some ground interdiction and recon missions finally.
These p51 pilots should go back to ferry duty. . .

Discussion in another thread about air supply missions.
Dangerous to do into the front lines

Remember that heavy weather plays a large part in getting supplies to a temp. port. That's why it's unwise to invade when heavy weather is close.

I am not sure of the sequencing but I got next to no freight last turn as well. The other heavy rain turn I had I got plenty

Your interdiction numbers are good, so the weather is the only other variable I believe that would affect the amount you get, unless Oran is dry, which I doubt. Did you take a lot of cargo ship losses? Did you notice?
