The Italians (obviously) do a combined. They put a TRS to sea in the Eastern Mediterranean and pick up an INF (which is later placed in Bardia).

The Germans and Japanese choose a Land. The Germans pile everything into Holland - including Paratroopers - in order to make the odds as favourable as possible given the Rain weather.

The Dutch can choose to use the notional or not. They choose yes, giving away the +1, on the basis that the attack would be automatic otherwise.

The odds are 7:1 +2 (disorganised and Paratrooper) on the Assault table. The notional has no effect.

The result is a 5(7) and the Dutch unit is destroyed.

For the Japanese it was a case of moving forward slowly in the mud. I had to disorganise a couple of units and put others out of supply which always sucks - just like the mud in fact.

The Germans re-base some aircraft as do the Japanese.

I want the Ju-52 re-organised but am not prepared to disorganise Ritter von Leeb at this stage - may prove a mistake.

USSR declare war on Persia. Surprisingly, there is no reaction from US.

Will Persia align to Germany or Japan and where will you place the Persian cavalry?

CW and France take combined impulses.

No Port Strikes. No naval air.

CW sends a battle fleet to the North Sea along with transporters loaded with BEF. CW sends a TRS to Bay of Biscay where it embark a garrison from Liverpool. France sends a transport to Western Mediterranean and embark a infantry from Algeria.

No strategic bombing.

The Soviet ground strike on the Persian defenders is a success.

BEF debark in Rotterdam and France debark one Corps in Marseilles.

USSR attack Teheran. Two bombers provide ground support.

CW rebase one fighter to Rotterdam.

No reorganization.

The winter weather makes a temporary comeback.

For $%^& sake its March / April [:@] Fetch me my angry trousers - I'm madder than I've ever been.....

[and what about your angry coat? Will you be requiring that too?]

Maybe I will.....maybe I will.

About two Fine weather impulses in four turns - and one of those was mandatory!!

No idea what to do here. -2 odds levels, aircraft halved, once again both Chinese weather zones affected..... summer disappearing.

If anyone has any ideas they would be gratefully received [;)]

Summer has yet to begin.

If you can't attack then manoeuvre might be a good idea.

But if I am to offer real advice I suggest that you all pass. [;)]

Now, Mr. Warspite. Snow isn't bad weather at all. Rain, Storm and Blizzard is. Snow is nothing but an inconvenience.

Start looking at Belgium. Start making calculations and see what kind of odds you can get against the Belgians in snow. It might be better than expected...

Snow isn't bad weather at all? Mmmmm....not sure I would agree that -2 odds is just an inconvenience? Belgium? You do realise there is a huge stack of CW in Holland?

Ho hum... lets just hope the weather changes for the better next impulse - if I get one....

We are just there on a vacation in order to see if the Dutch are as nice as everyone says. [:)]

No, they are only there to destroy the "Betaafse Petroleum" oil installations in Pernis...

But to be honest, I missed that stack.

But if there is a stack there, there must be CW transports in the North Sea. How about a raid by the Kriegsmarine, supported by the Luftwaffe? Are there CW NAV in the North Sea?

Kriegsmarine too small (Gneisenau being up-gunned) and Luftwaffe too far away (I thought I was going to get a crack at Belgium).....

Belgium is a lot easier if you have a para ready.

Yes but Holland should be automatic. I used the Para because of the weather.
