Tis my first one vs non- AI lol.
U leave those poor italians in front of my Army for a reason? Guess you didnt like those guys? Thought about trying to encircle them but figured 6 divisions getting a win or two was as better plan [8D]

Turn 38 GHC Armaments: 0,000 Manpower: 70,000 VP: 203

Armament Pts. Destroyed = 51

Manpower Pts over run during 1942 =
Russian Units Destroyed after November 1st 1941

AP total:
Stavka OOB: 6,449,000
GHC OOB: 3,663,000
Turn 38 March 8th 1942
Pelton vs smokendave Russian OOB: 6,978,000
Pelton vs rkimmi Stavka OOB: 6,924,000
Pelton vs Chaos45 Stavka OOB: 6,449,000
AGN pushes through the back door even with low CV attack rating per the 1st spring ruleset. I was surpised to have pushed aside this hex with the lower then normal german CV attack rating, 4th PG also pushes south of Ilman. I expect to have Leningrad in German hands before mid June when the summer fun begins.
Stavka remains weak over all with many low CV areas to be exploited during clear turns.

AGC pockets 23 units, looks to be a solid pocket not sure what Stavka was thinking?
This was one of 3 weak points in Stavka lines, but this had the best units to pocket.
This pocket was a gift as it had the best units and really was very easy to pocket.
Compared to my game vs rkimmi the front line Stavka CV's look 30-40% lower over all. There are a few areas with higher CV, but over all much weaker.
Once a clear turn hits and German CV is at max then I have a true feel for things, but after this turn Stavka is down not out but weaker then normal for sure.

The Italians are a non-factor as they get withdrawn so every man they kill is a + for me.
When your playing GHC this is important, a morale victory is just that the math is more important in the long run.

yep i saw the risk but in blizzard can only run so fast then u got snow which allowed you to easily catch and encircle them. Those units all moved the max they could away, big difference in movement between German and Soviet units.
Good thing Germans have those all terrain western european trucks to quickly drive over the steppes and encircle retreating Soviet units in the snow [:)]

Another basic principle in early '42 is the Soviets must completely change their mindsight toward the Germans; though weak during blizzard they become dangerous late winter and deadly in the spring. Most Soviets curtail any February attacks and not only prepare an in-depth fort network, but give up ground.
Some of the best Soviet players have been caught with their pants down early 42. Ask M60. In spite of his denial, he is one of the best. Not bad at AAR's either. (I think he's going for an Academy Award with his most recent.)

Na, no crayon, just a green Magic Marker. BTW, post your Soviet units destroyed after 11/1/41.

Odd that the NKVD regiment is still alive north of Leningrad. That thing should have disbanded long ago.

Think it stuck around because it got trapped, no idea really had like 3-4 of them stuck around and i finally just had to disband them to get rid of them.

Stavka lines are paper thin I just need a few pockets and things will thin out quickly, Still not sure why Stavka has their best troops near Leningrad?
AGN is going to try and tied down as many of Stavka best troops here in the unless north with zero VP’s. I am going to keep 3 panzer divisions in area to crack lines here and there and see if I can forse him to waste troops in area.

2nd PG forms a small pocket of 8 divisions and 1st PG flanks the river. Just plain shitty weather if it was clear could have bagged allot more, but I take a few small gains for now. I Corp is on the way.
