Late April 1947 - France

The Germans counter-attack in the West and drive a wedge between Allied armies. Le Mans falls in the German effort.

Great AAR.

It looks like the Allied AI is not very good at using HQs. None in France is a very bad thing. Three are sitting in the UK.

It also has spent a lot of MPP on garrisons. I count 9 UK garrisons in your last image. I bet there are more elsewhere on the map. I don't think I purchased 9 total for the UK in my last two games (39-44 for allied wins).

The AI also should be moving the two Corps and two armies to France where they can do some good. Only one is on a port now so it appears it has no plans to do so.

I think some AI help is needed to make it fight better and deploy troops more efficiently. Looking forward to future patches. I’m sure this can be addressed.

Well here is the screenshot that confirms the obvious - Stalemate.

I have to go thru my notes and try to write up my thoughts this weekend.

Thanks for all of you who watched - I have a head-to-head AAR going as well and already we are feeling the tension of a live opponent. Great game!
