Just to the south of Orsha is Mogilev and that's where all the Soviet defenders are ready and counterattacking already.
They have been there a while and are dug in good so I'm going to need some arty to dig them out of their holes. Too
bad the rails aren't as far east as I need, I could use those RR arty guns right about now. 210mm of iron raining
down from 20 miles away.
EDIT: Oh, and I wanted to say: please notice that most of the Axis units are either yellow, orange, or frankly red.

Here's why they are tired already: I'm trying to wage war on a single-digit supply budget. I need to settle in and just
hold what I have for a while to let the rails get closer and the supply level get higher.

This is Mogilev still and I've been moving units and more Axis units have arrived at the scene of the crime and are
taking up positions opposite the Soviets. I'm hoping to be able to get some troops though the tiny hole in the Soviet
lines and trap some of that Soviet equipment on the west side of the river near Mogilev itself. As soon as the
Mogilev hole is closed, whether I own it or not, 80% of the troops lined up there will be redeployed.

It's T8 already and I'm only now starting to sneak up on Kiev. The Stalin Line slowed me down longer than I had
scheduled. Maybe I can make up some time somehow.

Here's the T9 face of Mogilev right now. The fighting is fierce and the stakes are high and neither side is taking
any prisoners. This is toe-to-toe fighting as it was known through the ages.

Larry do you know if reinforcement are function of advance. I'm on turn 4 and received Polizei and 93 ID at Riga (expected).
But many units arrived that i don't remember seeing on the expected reinforcement.
Vilnius: 106 & 110 ID Bialystok: 197 ID Ivasevitchi: 260 ID Tarnopol: 125 & 294 ID Rovno: 132 ID
If this is normal losses are less frightening as they are countered by new units arriving with full supply and good state[:)]

Here's what Kiev looks like right now. At least I'm not fighting over river crossings in this area.

Yes indeed. Reinforcements DO arrive when you capture the hex they arrive in. Just like the Polizei when you
capture Riga. You can look up what hexes you need to grab for the reinforcement. Give you something to do when
you're bored with fighting the war.

These are all units that arrived on the eastern front historically and the approximate arrival date. To insure that the Axis player does a historical advance in 1941 the units will arrive on the hex when captured by the Axis player as they advance forward. For example, if you choose not to approach Leningrad and capture certain cities then those divisions that you would get will not arrive as they did historically. The Axis player needs to get all divisions that are allocated to it or it will not have enough units to cover the front and that could (probably would) become a predicament later on.

According to the expected reinforcements I'm supposed to receive a CD gun at Murmansk but I don't own the hex yet and
probably won't for a long time if ever so I'm probably not going to get that piece of equipment but the rest of it is
probably doable. I just need to grab the hex away from Elmer.

This is what Kiev looks like now. I'm finishing off the straggler defenders before I lay siege to Kiev. The city itself
looks like a fortress, like it might be hard to take down. Like last time I'll surround it before serious attacks start.

The Finns are active now so there's battles going on north of Leningrad in the wilderness.

Here's what the Mogilev area looks like now. I'm still fighting over river crossings but I'm getting closer to the
clear terrain beyond them. This is the confluence of a couple of rivers and is complicated and tricky to get right.
I seem to be hampered by all this Soviet resistance. I need to move the Panzer divisions to the reserve before too long.

I finally got all the Bulgarians railed to Sofia. I'll entrench them and put them on rest/training and get them up to
speed.
EDIT: Maybe I should explain. The Bulgarians were awaken from garrison mode too early because of a scenario design
edit tiny problemo but if I just park the Bulgarians at Sofia, keeping them out of the game until the fall of
Sevastopol, then there's no difference to the game and playtesting can continue.

This is the NW corner of the front lines right now and you can see how I'm pressing north trying to push the Soviets
toward the bottleneck so I can guard that avenue with fewer troops than I have there now.

I've run into a tiny problemo near Pskov in that there's a rather large Soviet unit in good health and it is of course
fortified and it's going to mean heavy losses taking it down and I'd like to avoid all that so as to maybe try to
surround it first, bring in some arty to pound it to make it disentrench, and THEN assault it. Lighter losses but takes
a lot longer. Well, it's going to be a long war and lord knows I don't need the losses.

Here's the Orsha - Smolensk area right now and not everybody in this image has moved yet so it's bound to change slightly
from what it is now. I'm pressing east and trying to get everybody across the river(s) but the supply levels are way
too low to get serious about prosecuting the war.

Here's the Gomel area right now. You can see the pending battles as the Axis forces try to mop up the Soviets.
