Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease. Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body's natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.

And in Canadian News, the Tittle Bridge in Nova Scotia has collapsed. Rumour has it that they did not use enough underwire nor a "cross your heart" form of engineering for it ...

That was one spectacular failure. But the GG bridge has always looked solid to me.

Father to son talk sometime after the year 2020.

Father: "Virtual schooling? I remember back when I was your age, having to walk to the bus stop to go to a real school... Uphill. Both ways. And after school, I'd have to ride the bus back to the stop and walk all the way back home! And without a mask to protect me from the COVID." [:@]

Son: "Did you see a bear?" [&:]

Father: "Yes I did. We went to the zoo for a field trip when I was in third grade. We were all on a bus and had to sit side-by-side each other - we couldn't even maintain our 2 meters of separation... And we didn't wear a mask back then either!"

Son: "Wow dad - you Boomers had it bad back then."

Father: "Yes we did, son. It's probably a miracle your mother and I are still alive..."

It didn't collapse - it just sagged, as things do when they get older...

Those were good times - lol. Never got tired of firing live ammo; it beats the snot out of using the MILES equipment. :-)

Of course, picking up all that brass is a pain - but man! We had 548 Cargo Carriers back when I was in - the 50 was on a ring mount right over the cab. It didn't take long to fill the cab with brass. Dancing with a 50 was fun.

Thanks for jogging the old memory. [:)]

Looks like Star Trek is getting a new, humorous cartoon show "Lower Decks". Should be a hoot!
