The Port of Osinovets held against a German attack. Army Group North appears determined to capture Osinovets in an attempt to cut off the port supply to Leningrad.

The two Panzer Corps North West of Kalinin continue their attack.

The Soviet defenses West of Moscow held up well this turn. Army Group Center appears to have held back most of their Panzer and Motorized units, probably refueling for another major attack next turn.

The situation in the South at the beginning of the Turn - Soviet Army defenses have been effective in maintaining a solid defensive line West of Rostov.

Army Group North captures the Port of Osinovets, isolating the garrison in Leningrad. The Red Air Force airdrops supplies to Leningrad.

Just West of Kalinin a pocket is threatened next turn, time to retreat and straighten the defensive line.

End of turn, a new defensive line is established in the Kalinin sector. Always trying to keep a step ahead of the Panzer units in an attempt to avoid any major pockets from occurring.

Beginning of turn 13, a pocket was formed around Tula.

The pocket was opened and 3 German Motorized divisions and 2 German Motorized Regiments were cut off from supplies. Situation at the end of the Turn in the Tula area.

End of the turn in the South, most of the Panzer and Motorized divisions are located just West of Stalino collecting supplies - a major offensive is expected next week by the Axis. Hopefully the deep defenses will be able to prevent any major breakthrough or pocket from being formed next turn.

What routes are being repaired by your opponent?

My Opponent is repairing the following rail routes (turn 16 which I am completing)

1) Pskov - Vyshnyvolochek - Kalinin
2) Minsk - Smolensk - Tula
3) Kirovograd - Dnepropetrovsk
4) Odessa to Nikolaev

At the beginning of the turn in the Moscow area - Soviet defenses are holding up well.

In the Tula area, German units are trying to ZOC lock a number of Soviet units, threatening an encirclement next turn.

The Red Army strikes back routing the 25th Motorized Division, freeing the units which were ZOC locked in the Tula area.

Soviet defenses set up East of Tula at the end of the turn.

In the Rostov area the situation at the beginning of the turn, a Panzer breakthrough Northeast of Stalino.
