From a tech support post:
I think there are two references in the manual to tables that are incorrect.
Both page 144 and page 258 reference table 38.6.1 for ZOC movement (which is actually "Optimum Rank per HQ Type"), I believe this should be 38.7.1 ("Basic Tactical Movement Costs").

Manual uses a mix of Romania and Rumania, the proper term used ingame is Rumania. This is valid for both desription of the country and unit names

The Living Manual is very useful however ALL the changes since inception are the same reddish brown hue. It would be nice if the absolute latest changes since the last update were a different hue to emphasize that they are the most recent changes, otherwise trying to find these newest changes is almost futile and you might as well try to use the What's new notes to try to find the absolute latest changes in either the official manual or the living manual. Of course this would make a little more prep work prior to each living manual update to change these NOW older changes to the reddish brown hue prior to introducing the next batch of new changes, but, in my opinion it would really make the living manual a lot more useful immediately following updates.

I think if you want to find the very latest changes, you should either search by version number, or you should look at the whatsnew or look at the list at the back end of the living manual. The very last page of the living manual always includes the latest versions changes to the rules (doesn't include typo fixes in the manual). It's always a good idea to review these latest changes at the end of the document if you want to see rule changes/corrections as opposed to bug/data fixes. The number of these are quite small these days, so it's not a lot to go through. It would be extra work to have the new entries be in a bright red, and then change those whenever the next version's changes come in.

Living manual, 38.2.
September occurs in several places that should say October.

Living manual 25.2.5 Maximum Ranges
Errata - Clarification (01.01.00): When tracing distance for freight movement from a depot to a unit, the number of MPs will never be more than 4x the number of movement points
Shouldn't this read the same as the Errata in 25.5.4 Gaining Road Supply?
to wit: Errata (01.01.00): When tracing distance for freight movement from a depot to a unit, the number of MPs will never be more than 4x the number of hexes

Yes, it seems so, including the note in 43.2.1 of the manual in the list of patch notes. All of them should be hexes not MPs. Thanks.

Living manual at the end of Section 26.3.1. On Map Refit
Errata 01.02.32:
HQs on map and in the national reserve may now be placed into refit mode. This can be done on the CR screen or by right clicking on the unit within the Reserve box on the map
26.3.2.
This probably should be in the Reddish Brown hue denoting it's an update.
Minor but hey, some people (myself included) look for the color change in somewhat fast scrolling of the Living manual to find the next update/change to pay attention to while reading the official manual.

Living manual section 39. Appendix J: HOTKEY LIST
There's no mention of ctrl-a also being a hotkey for Show Air Operational Groups
This is actually mentioned on the Page Guide #3, Panel 2 in the original manual

This is NOT in the Living manual since it involves a graphic guide nor could I find it in the What'sNew files but...
On the one Page Guide #8, panel 2, events, circle A. it states:
You can also access Events using Hotkey ctrl-e or using the loudhailer button on the map info tab.
The loudhailer button is actually on the info screens tab. (re: v1.03.10 beta)

A dumb question: there are no pictures in the living manual that I DL. There are some tables. Is it an issue with my pdf viewer/preferences or are the pictures deliberately omitted. It makes it hard to make sense of the living manual without all the screengrabs.
Also, the Living Manual States:
11.2.5. Unlocking the Soviet Southern Front
If a Soviet national hex south or east of 187,187 (just southeast of Lvov) is Axis controlled then all of Southern Front and related airbases will be unfrozen.
Should that be:
If a Soviet national hex south of hex row 187 or east of 187,187 along hex row 187 (just southeast of Lvov) is Axis controlled then all of Southern Front and related airbases will be unfrozen.
I don't think Southern Front is activated if you are just east of 187, 187 unless you are also south of it.

There are no pics in the living manual as it's based on the doc file of pure text before screenshots were added in the final version of the official manual.

Is it possible to insert the pictures please - otherwise you need to run the two documents side by side to be up to date.

Some info in this thread would be useful in the living manual:

Info to be added to the living manual from another thread:
Thanks for reporting this. This is a case of a living manual change due to the original manual not being correct, and the change could have been more complete. Check out this section of the living manual (especially the part in red that is the added part):
16.6.5. Airbase Supply Priority
Remember that unlike depots and HQ units, if an airbase is set to #0 supply priority
it
will receive no supply allocation. The supply priority can be changed in the
Commanders Report (35.7) or by right clicking on the map hex with the air base or
via the general information box (6.2.1).
Airbase supply requirements are set by the number of pilot crews at the airbase not
the number of aircraft.
Errata 01.02.52
270
Part 4: The Air War
The supply priority of airbases cannot be changed on the CR/unit tab, and may
only be changed by changing the Air Command HQ’s supply priority via either
the CR/HQ tab or by changing the Air Command’s AOG supply priority.
The part you found in section 4.5.8 ("the logistics priority of airbases...") should have had a note added as well that it is no longer true. So basically, airbase priority is set by AOG, and airbases assume the supply priority based on the highest priority of any air units at the base (according to the AOG they belong to). So if Fliegerkorps II has an air unit at an airbase and FK II has supply priority 4, and Hungarian Air Command has an air unit at the same airbase with supply priority 1, the base will have supply priority 4.
I'm going to copy this to the living manual area so we can remember to add this info when we next update the living manual. Thanks again.

Biplane transports (U-2 transports) can not do freight drops. They seem to be able to make transport runs only to an hex with an airfield.
Since I do not think it is written anywhere in the the manual, it might be a nice addition to the living manual.

This is the living manual so it’s as complete and as alive as it is, why would you not use it?

This is what I have in the latest LM.
Can someone confirm what I have written in blue is accurate?
