Turn 40 Sept 1, 1944
Marianas Sit-rep:
American naval aviation buzzes the northern part of Guam. Nippon AAA returns fire.
Kempeitai operatives radio that the US 27th Arty is still out of supply on Saipan...
Tokyo Rose here!
"Well boys on all those big ships steaming to towards Guam again. Here's a song to remind you what is waiting for you when you arrive. Our valiant soldiers are waiting for you.
Yes, it's Vera Lynn's 'We'll Meet Again'.
Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite. The Rising Sun is at hand.

Turn 42 Sept 5, 1944
Exhausted US forces attempt to take North and Northwest Airfields on Guam.
General Takashima immediately reacts and turns the defense force into a shock column, with Lt Tanks in the vanguard. General Obata holds the rear and General Shigamatsu in command of the artillery in the central district covers as support. The Americans have considerable air-power at their disposal so the march north may be hazardous. Never the less, we are coming! Banzai!

Turn 44 Sept 9, 1944
SCENARIO END: Japanese Decisive Victory.
Extremely brutal match and a big thumbs up to Similcro for sticking it out! He has been in a multiplayer 'baptized in a sea of blood' situation and is a true bitter-ender, a rare commodity.
I salute you o7
Following are screen-shots of the final from the Japanese point of view.
